Bridges Outcomes Partnerships are a mission-driven Not for Profit social enterprise who work with partners to design and deliver vital services for people, providing housing, employment, education and wellbeing support. The Assistant Accountant position is part-time (flexible between 3 - 4 days per week) and is largely remote-based so we welcome applicants from across the UK.
Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for the day to day financial processing for Bridges, processing and posting invoices, recording financial transactions and developing reports and preparing the accounts to trial balance. As a vital member of the team, this position will work with other non-finance stakeholders across the organisaiton to ensure the accuracy of the numbers and deal with financial queries.
This role would be suitable for an accounting technician (ideally AAT qualified but this is not-essential) who has expereince working in a similar role, who is comfortable using Xero (or similar). There is scope to develop in this role, and this position would be a brilliant opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a wider culture of development and improvement.
