The Global Agency Programme Director will be a major Change Agent lead supporting the new pharmaceutical and vaccines operating model signed off by the Pharmaceuticals Leadership Team (PLT).

The role will drive significant change in the way in which GSK engages with Global Agencies.

More specifically....

In this role you will drive the global agency project ensuring that there are the appropriate governance parameters in place to drive rationalization of current supplier base across GSK and saving in Global Agency Spend over the next two years.

As Commercial Director, Global Agency Management you will work with the Regional Presidents and General Managers to develop governance rules and exception processes for using creative agencies to drive the right behaviors at both a global and local level within GSK Commercial.

You will support the Marketing Operations Centre implementation team with the processes to support and drive production de-coupling across all Tier 1 markets. You will also lead the de-coupling initiative across all Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets to drive uptake and re-use of assets and reduce spend globally in creative production for Pharmaceuticals and Vaccines.

You will be tasked with developing a robust set of Key Performance Indicators and Measures in collaboration with the Commercial Finance partner and Global Procurement leads to ensure we can track current spend and report against forecasted savings which will ultimately be monitored by the Pharmaceutical Leadership Team (PLT).

Moreover you will support the Global Business Unit transformation lead with the single agency approach. Ensure that best practice and key learns are used to drive a smooth integration of the "single agency" model reducing any interruption to the Global Business teams in both Pharmaceuticals and the Vaccines organizations. You will drive alignment on the global strategy to ensure that global materials are utilized in country and the appropriate measures are in place to measure uptake and pull through from the local operating companies.

You will work closely with GSK Procurement to ensure the correct Marketing Service Agreements are in place with all Global Agencies to drive the project and change within GSK and to ensure that previous ways of working are not reverted to post delivery of the Global Agency Programme.

Basic qualifications:

  • Experience of working within in marketing and/or content environment
  • Experience in managing large scale and complex projects
  • Experience of working with agencies and vendor management/contract negotiation experience
  • Experience of working across multiple geographies

  • Ability to develop and lead a large diverse network of people across many disciplines and countries
  • Ability to deliver complex change management projects including leading organisation change for teams
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Proven success and ability to manage diverse teams
