Development Plans Manager, Open to flexible working
Location: 5 Pancras Square
Salary: £43,737 to £50,736
Contract Type: Permanent, full time, 36 hours per week

The Role
This is an exciting new role for an individual to take the lead on preparing and reviewing Camden's development plans, policies and strategies. You will be involved in developing and leading complex projects and supervising and supporting team members in order to produce high quality outcomes. This role will also involve deputising for the Strategic Lead, as necessary, and take on additional responsibilities. You will also be innovative and creative, proving solutions to issues and have a high level of analytical capabilities.
About You
You will be an ambitious and strategic individual with the ability to lead a team to success. You will have great communication, and influencing skills as you will be required to develop strong relations with external stakeholders such as: neighbourhood forums, the GLA, consultants, landowners, developers and major institution; as well as internal stakeholders. You will be adaptable to the demands of the Planning Policy team, supporting wider objectives and the Strategic Lead as required. As well as extensive knowledge and experience of the Planning role, you will also hold a qualification in the Planning or related discipline.
