The Transformation Programme is one of the largest programmes in the Bank and a key vehicle for the Bank to accomplish its vision and become a pioneer in the way digital technologies and experiences service our customers across channels.

We're now looking for experienced candidates to join our Operations Control team which sits within the Group Transformation, Service Operations and Change Implementation (SOCI) business unit, supporting 3 key areas; operational risk, strategic initiatives and central Risk activities. From a risk perspective we are the first line of defence and our aim is to understand, lead and mitigate operational risk.

As Group Transformation continually evolves we also support strategic initiatives such as Open Banking and GDPR to ensure the needs of the business are being met by the central programmes.

You'll also be expected to support various specialist teams such as Cyber Security, Change Implementation and Incident Management. You'll be responsible for bringing continuity to the team through the identification of cyber risks, conducting deep dive into service issues and providing a vital communication link between SOCI senior stakeholders and the rest of the business.

It's essential that you're able to build and maintain credibility and collaborative relationships at all levels, with the key stakeholders within Group Transformation and beyond including Business Unit Control Function, Digital CIO and Group Services. You'll also manage our people day to day. Your dedicated approach will enable you to identify and initiate service and process improvements; ensuring all governance is adhered to and our colleagues are prepared and embrace change.

Your specific accountabilities will include;

- Risk Management; support aligning to Business release management, cyber security, operations

- Run risk meetings - that ability to conduct deep dives of issues and identify Risks

- Look to gaps in the business and make recommendations from a risk perspective

- Engage with 1st and 2nd line defence to handle Risk workflow - approvals, reviews signoffs

- Reviewing and running stakeholder review sessions for policy/process attestations

- Take lead on supporting mitigating initiatives associated with Risks; i.e. cyber review, operational resilience

You'll have proven experience in a similar operational risk orientated role, with knowledge of Operational Resilience and Information Security risk principles. In addition, experience of managing change initiatives and an understanding of basic project management practises would be advantageous. Experience of working in a Digital operational environment would also be an advantage.
