In this role, you will…

Be accountable for supporting the delivery of market-specific laboratory, medical, regulatory requirements within the market; developing and deploying category strategies based on the specific development needs within the market; acting as the procurement lead for market-driven innovation and for leading external development alliance partnerships.

This role may also be assigned to participate as an extended member of an R&D country team, an extended member of a CH brand team, or to oversee a project or program within R&D Procurement.

This role will report to an R&D Procurement Market Leader who will be specifically aligned with a market cluster within Consumer Health and will partner with other members of the R&D Procurement Market team to deliver R&D Procurement value within the market.

This role works in close partnership with other members of the R&D Procurement team to deliver value, efficiency, quality, and process acceleration to support Consumer Health priorities through strategic sourcing, contracting supplier relationship management, innovation, and alliance partnership activities across R&D, Supply Chain, and Medical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports implementation of market requirements within the structure of the global sourcing, contract, and supplier management strategy of R&D Procurement.
  • Partners with category managers across preclinical, product development, clinical development, regulatory, medical, laboratory products/services to ensure that market-specific priorities/suppliers are aligned.
  • Actively supports procurement engagement within relevant CH R&D/brand teams to enable external supplier solutions, speed, efficiency, and quality, to complement internal Consumer Health R&D capabilities.
  • Ensures the efficient implementation of innovation priorities through development programs, supply base, and alliance partnerships.
  • Seeks to identify and achieve greater efficiency and consistency in our ways of working, provides greater growth and development opportunities for team members, and drives improvements in team capability.
