Scope of role:
The Senior Workspace Engineer will guide and supervise internal and external technical teams on the design, build and deployment of Workspace Technologies.
The Senior Workspace Engineer role provides the overall ownership of the Workspace technology platform & applications within GSK. The Senior Workspace Engineer role provides the design, build and deployment model. The Senior Workspace Engineer analyzes and leads the resolution of the most complex technical issues while providing expert technical support and direction to multiple workspace design, build and deployment teams.
- Lead design, build, deployment model of the Workspace Technology Platforms & Applications
- Lead and supervise strategic partners and CW's executing Workspace Technology activities
- Have accountability for the technical quality of Workspace Technology platforms & applications
- Continuously improve Workspace Technology offering and end user experience
You will have deliverables across: Workspace Technical Architecture, Proof of Concepts, Integration Architecture, Product Design and Build, Production Readiness, Deployment Model Definition, Expert Consulting to Product Owners, Technical Design Quality and Assurance, Technical SOP's, Technical Documentation and Technical Education Pack Design.
This role will identify the problems, challenges and opportunities within Workspace Technologies. They will then lead the evaluation and recommendation on best option. Once agreed, implement recommendations.
The Senior Workspace Engineer will be involved from the start to provide technical guidance/input/expertise. You will design, build and create the deployment model that is required.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in information technology
- Experience designing and implementing technical solutions
- Experience creating and presenting technical strategies and technical solution recommendations
- Experience designing technical solutions using object-oriented design concepts
- Experience integrating new technologies into existing technology portfolio
