We have an exciting opportunity for a Weekend Packaging Operations Manager to join our Leven site- Diageo’s largest packaging site and proud winner of Diageo Global site of the year for two years running!  

The site is the largest packaging plant in Europe comprising of 21 production lines, a luxury packaging area and circa 570 employees who make up our World Class team.  

You’ll lead a team of circa 60 people which is made up of Packaging Team Leaders, Performance Improvement Leads, Maintenance Reliability Leads, Operators and Engineers.  You will be a ground-breaking and inspirational leader who is passionate about driving a high performance and continuous improvement culture where people are highly engaged, and manufacturing excellence is at the forefront of how we do business.  

With high levels of growth anticipated across all product categories, you’ll be instrumental in developing and implementing the strategic plan for liquid packaging, ensuring that a successful growth agenda is built on strong organisational change principals.  

About You 

We’d love to hear from you if you: 

  • Are an inclusive leader with operational leadership experience in FMCG/drinks/luxury products/pharmaceutical, etc. It would be advantageous if you are experienced in leading leaders.   
  • Have a passion for developing people and dedication   
  • Have knowledge and experience of continuous improvement/ Lean Manufacturing  
  • Are a change agent who has the ability to encourage connection and implement plans   
  • Be financially and commercially astute   
  • Are a role model in terms of safety leadership 
  • Demonstrate a high level of ownership for asset care implementation
