David Roach Consulting is looking for a bright, organised, presentable and articulate individual who can assist David Roach with his corporate public relations and public affairs work.

The successful candidate will have a background in research and administration, previously been in a client facing role, and ideally have experience of working in a public relations agency (although this is not essential). Experience of using social media, and having competent writing skills will be an important plus.

He/she will be IT proficient and know how to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. They will also provide David Roach's clients with logistical, event, and when required media relations, support. That means he/she will occasionally be client facing, and need to provide backup on accounts. There may also be the opportunity for some business travel. 

Working for a small consultancy means the successful candidate must be prepared to diversify and multi-task when required to do so.

As part of David Roach Consulting's CSR policy, we would also love it if the successful candidate got involved with the company's chosen charity, MQ, which has been set up to find and fund better treatments for mental health.

This job is ideal for someone who needs the flexibility of working either three or four days per week. There is also the opportunity to work from home. Ideally, they will be able to start immediately.
