Financial Controller, Part time

Based in Farringdon, this role is part-time (approx. five hours a day Monday to Friday) and offers flexibility to work from home up to two days per week.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced finance professional who can support the business with all aspects of finance. The Financial Controller will review and present the final financial reports to the CEO on a monthly basis and also have responsibility for financial analysis, forecasting and cash management.  A ‘hands-on’ approach is essential. This role is supported by an external bookkeeper who is responsible for all purchase ledger and preparation of the management accounts.

Key requirements for the role    

  • A proven track record of effective Management Accounts preparation within a commercial environment, ideally an SME or start-up
  • Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or Qualified by Experience
  • A self starter with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Demonstrable analytical abilities
  • Flexible and results orientated
  • Good system skills, knowledge of Xero or similar accounting package would be an advantage
