In the past year we have helped over 2.7 million people solve over 6.3 million problems. Our national network delivers services from 2,700 locations in England and Wales. In 2015 we won Charity Times Charity of the Year for our work. Now we want to do even more.

We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to lead strategic communications projects to help Citizens Advice deliver for the millions of people who come to us for help each year. You’ll be joining a high-performing team responsible for engaging key audiences including our staff, the extensive local Citizens Advice network and the general public with our work, using a range of channels including digital, events and print material.

This senior role will sit alongside 4 other senior communications officers and have ownership over the communications strategy for a specific programme or programmes of work, with possibility of line managing additional team members.

We are looking for someone with a wide range of skills, from exceptional judgement and excellent stakeholder management, to an understanding of cutting edge communications techniques and meeting audience needs. You’ll be confident and comfortable working with senior stakeholders, and able to work collaboratively in a fast paced and creative team.

This is a pivotal role in one of the country’s most important organisations. In the last year alone, Citizens Advice helped 2.7 million people through a network of 2,700 locations and there were 43 million visits to our advice website.

As we approach our 80th year and embark on our next strategy, you will play an important part in ensuring the organisation can innovate and deliver the best service for our clients.
