Our Global Campaigns Director is a key role in our global internal engagement team, critical to exciting and motivating people in GSK’s purpose, ambitions, strategy and culture. This person will support our Head of Internal Comms, Global Campaigns to develop and deliver creative and engaging campaigns and content, particularly around innovation, to inspire people to drive engagement and deliver our company goals.  

Collaborating with IE leaders across the company, the successful candidate will be exemplary at understanding the complexities of engaging a global audience, listening and building connections, and making sure campaigns across the year feel joined up. They will be data-driven, partnering closely with our data and insight team, taking an agile approach to making sure campaigns are robust, effective, measurable and always in support of driving company performance.

The individual will need to be highly collaborative, working together with a large matrixed IE network to ensure excellent execution of campaigns. The role may on occasion also include selecting and working with relevant rostered agencies and other partners.

This role will provide you a fantastic opportunity to lead key activities that will make a difference, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Supports the telling of the overall one GSK company story
  • Builds momentum and strategic drumbeat around strategic priorities
  • Develops quality content to share company news, in support of GSK’s purpose, ambitions, strategy and culture
  • Develops and delivers specific internal campaigns (e.g. innovation, culture change)
  • Works to agreed metrics and measurement approach for assessing impact
  • Contributes to strategy, tactics and content for CEO programme
  • Champions and uses new GSK’s internal tone of voice
  • Supports around influencer and leader communication
  • Supports on crisis/issues management communication support where required
  • Partners with the Data and Insight team to help inform campaign creation and delivery

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Experience of working on data / insight-driven internal engagement campaigns with proven outcomes across a variety of audience personas; including leading communications for large, business critical internal engagement campaign projects for highly visible public or private sector organisations
  • Experience within a communications agency, delivering key internal campaigns and content grounded in insight and measurement for major global companies.
  • Experience of use of insights, building and designing campaigns through collaboration, coordinating and aligning campaigns across the business

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building with senior leaders in a matrix organisation
  • Experience of managing and influencing a complex set of stakeholders with potentially competing priorities
  • Track record of strong personal impact on projects or programmes with significant global exposure
