In this role you will manage the daily liquidity management process (investment of surplus funds and commercial paper issuance), to operate and maintain the intercompany FX hedging processes and to support the FX dealing activity.

Your responsibilities:

  • Execution of Treasury dealing activity including, but not limited to, FX transactions, intercompany cash management, money market transactions, issuance of commercial paper and interest rate derivatives 
  • Maintain and communicate on all aspects of Treasury dealing policies, procedures, processes and project activities, responding to questions and giving advice as appropriate 
  • Represent the Dealing Team on projects and externally vis-à-vis the banks or other suppliers (e.g. FIS) 
  • Work closely with the Treasury Operations team to understand, manage and report upon the daily central cash position 
  • The management of cash balances, foreign exchange positions and bank account balances on Treasury company bank accounts 
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with counterparts at each of the group’s Global Relationship Banks (GRBs), including contacts on the FX desk, investment management and commercial paper brokers 
  • Develop and maintain the strategy for how the group manages its surplus cash 
  • Develop KPI reporting for the Dealing team, including Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA), to be presented to the VP Corporate Finance 
  • Dealing all transactions in accordance with Treasury policies, with approved counterparties and within approved limits 
  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement within the department, initiating and implementing improvements when identified 
  • Be aware of changes in financial regulations and the impact changes may have on the cash management structure 

Basic qualifications:

  • University graduate, equivalent or qualified by experience
  • Studying for a Financial qualification, (eg: CGMA, ACCA, AMCT/MCT, CFA) 
  • Good understanding of how Treasury operates in a large, global company 
  • An understanding of how the FX markets operate 
  • Good attention to detail 
  • Some experience of cash management in Treasury or a Financial institution
