Senior Project Officer – (Environment), Open to flexible working

We are looking for a new member of staff to join our Energy Efficiency team. You will join at an exciting time as we take forward the new London Environment Strategy and deliver the Mayor’s ambition for London to be a zero-carbon city by 2050, with energy efficient buildings, clean transport and clean energy. You will have an understanding of energy efficiency and ideally experience of delivering projects in this area.

The role requires a flexible, adaptable, and collaborative approach. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, research and problem-solving skills. You will need to demonstrate project delivery skills as well as the ability to communicate and build relationships with key stakeholders, including London boroughs.

The Energy Efficiency team is based within the GLA Environment Team which is responsible for the delivery the London Environment Strategy. This is a great opportunity to work with colleagues who are committed to making a difference to the lives of Londoners and future generations.

London's diversity is its biggest asset and we strive to ensure our workforce reflects London's diversity at all levels. We welcome applications from everyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith or disability.

We are committed to being an inclusive employer and we are happy to consider flexible working arrangements. We would welcome applications from candidates who are seeking part time work as this role is open to job share.

In addition to a good salary package, we offer an attractive range of benefits including 30 days’ annual leave, interest free season ticket loan, interest free bicycle loan, childcare voucher scheme and a career average pension scheme.

Application closing date: Tuesday 26 June 2018 at 23:59 GMT

Interviews will take place at: City Hall on Wednesday 18 July 2018
