Research and Grants Officer, 4-5 days/wk

At MQ, we fund research in order to create a world where mental illness is understood, effectively treated, and ultimately prevented. We are now recruiting for a new role, Research and Grants Officer.

We’re currently looking for a bright, motivated individual who is eager to learn and enthusiastic to get exposure to the work carried out by MQ. This role would suit someone who has had exposure to the grant-making process from within a grant-giving charity or the research field, and wants to build on this experience and grow their skills base. You will want to make an impact quickly, helping MQ transforming the mental health research field, and have the energy and appetite to progress at MQ.

This role will support the Research team to ensure that we effectively deliver our research aims and grant programmes and will:

  • administer MQ’s grant funding and peer review process,
  • support awarded researchers,
  • oversee post-award finances, and
  • support the evaluation and measurement of research progress and impact.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to make a significant difference in furthering mental health research in the UK and internationally.

To apply for this role please send your CV and covering letter (maximum one page) via the application method below by 12pm on the 31st of August, including information on where you saw the job advertised.
