About us

In Camden we are committed to working together to make our borough the best place to live, work, study, and visit. Partnership with our communities is central to the way we work, so that everyone can access opportunities, and nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help make a better future for us all by embedding and furthering the role of culture and creativity in the transformation of place, and people’s lives whether as audience, participant, maker, or producer.

The role

Culture and creativity are at the heart of Camden’s identity. Here you will find artists, organisations and institutions who push boundaries, creators and makers who shape the national and international conversation, residents, arts practitioners and  organisations  co-creating great work in our communities.

You will champion the role of culture  in transforming lives and neighbourhoods, maintain relationships with sector funding agencies, commercial partners, and stakeholders. You will be key to our relationship with the arts and cultural sectors as well as growing opportunities for creatively curating the public realm.

About you

We are looking for a collaborative person who has a track record of delivery, knowledge, experience and networks in the arts and culture sector. You will be an advocate and champion. Someone who can demonstrate a creative approach to work and finding solutions to make things happen.

The successful candidate will have the ability to lead and work with others to deliver strategic goals as well as operational functions through our arts and events service.

Working for Camden

We’re ready to welcome your ideas, your views, and your rebellious spirit. Help us redefine how we’re supporting our communities, and we’ll redefine what a career can be. If that sounds good to you, we’d love to talk.

At Camden, you’ll receive a host of benefits as well as joining a flexible working employer.
