... is a global leader in legal education, distance learning, training and certification. They
bridge the gap between university and employment to enhance the employability skills of
aspiring lawyers.

The Role in Brief...
..... To develop and manage an engaging social media strategy across multiple platforms to
build the brand story. Working with the Marketing Director, and sometimes external
suppliers, to develop varied content, including videos, blogs and whitepapers to build
engagement and ‘speak’ to the audience in an inspiring way.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and working closely with other members of the sales and marketing team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, implement and manage a social media strategy that resonates with potential students
  • Define objectives for each social media channel and adapt the strategy by region where appropriate
  • Define our most important social media KPIs, and agree targets with the Marketing Director
  • Develop an analytics dashboard and use it to present performance against target updates on a weekly basis
  • Develop compelling social media content that is on brand, and drives engagement with our target audience
  • Work with external suppliers (designers, copywriters, app developers) to develop social media content
  • Develop social media content including video, quizzes, blog articles, fact sheets and whitepapers ensuring that we developing as much as possible in house and use agencies only when there is a specific need
  • Build engagement with our alumni to develop user generated content and highlight the impact our exam prep courses have
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Collaborate with other members of the Marketing teams to ensure our social strategy in fully integrated with overall communications strategy
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

Role Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Social Media specialist or equivalent
  • Social media strategist using social media to build brand awareness and community engagement
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Good understanding of analytics and social media KPIs
  • Able to plan, build and manage an effective social media content plan
  • Strong creative ability, able to innovative and bring new ideas for engaging content
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Experience of managing or operating a CRM (Hubspot) system
  • Video editing skills would be an asset as would some knowledge of You Tube marketing
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
