Information & Quality Assurance Assistant - Children & Families Service, Part time 28.8 hours/wk

This is an exciting time to join Hackney Children and Families Service and the recently remodelled Quality Assurance and Improvement Team. The Quality Assurance and Improvement Team is made up of four hubs: Quality Assurance; Workforce & Practice Development; Complaints & Feedback; and Project & Service Improvement. This role is part of the Quality Assurance Hub.
The Quality Assurance and Improvement Team is part of the Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service in Hackney Children and Families Service. The service’s vision and mission statement is focused on improving outcomes for children and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of this important work.
You will provide high quality administrative support related to the quality assurance programme within the Children and Families Service. You will also work with colleagues in the Corporate Communications Team to support the effective delivery of internal and external communications related to the Children and Families Service, including with the children and families we work with, frontline practitioners, managers and elected Members, ensuring that all communication activities are systematic, dynamic and co-ordinated.
We are looking for a highly organised individual committed to working effectively to bring about positive change for children and families.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience of working as part of a team
- The ability to develop and adapt communication methods and materials to the needs of the service and the children and families we work with
- Highly creative and focused on solutions
- The ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups at different levels of the service and within partner organisations.
- Strong written skills
