The operation based in Diss, Norfolk produces a range of corrugated packaging and supplies a UK wide customer base with an enviable reputation for quality and service. On the back of a substantial investment programme starting in 2022 and an exciting future growth strategy, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.
This is an opportunity for a proactive and driven individual to focus on developing business opportunities at existing and new trade customers across the Southern region backed by a highly innovative and experienced team at Diss. The area covers the northern division which typically includes Birmingham, Peterborough, Leicester, Manchester & Leeds.
Ideal candidates will have a strong track record in gaining customer trust to identify and convert new business and product opportunities into profitable sales and who can build long term relationships. They will also have:
personal drive and determination to succeed
a sound grasp of all commercial factors
great interpersonal and presentation skills
a creative and adaptive approach to problem solving
a natural curiosity in customer and market trends
Knowledge of the corrugated industry would be useful as well as B2B field sales experience with trade customers and distributors.
Candidates will ideally be based in the Northern region.
