Are you interested in a highly visible Administrative Assistant role that allows you to interact with multiple stakeholders across GSK and external organisations? If so, this Administrative Assistant role is an exciting move to explore.

The role is within the GSK Worldwide Business Development team (WWBD) and is based in the UK.  In this role you will provide flexible administrative support internationally to the team including several members of the WWBD Leadership Team.  You will be an integral member of the team, helping with the smooth running of WWBD and leading new approaches to foster a vibrant team environment in our new hybrid ways of working, thereby helping us all to deliver new medicines to patients.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  •  Administrative assistance to some members of the WWBD Leadership Team, including:
    • Proactive complex calendar management
    • Management of correspondence, including handling of sensitive and confidential information
    • Proactive support for delivery of objectives and actions
    • Effective meeting administration and planning including arrangement of complex alliance partnership meetings and potential collaborator meetings
    • Travel arrangements
    • Expense management
  • General administrative support for WWBD, including:
    • Proactively driving and supporting engagement and team cohesion activities across WWBD
    • Championing deployment of new office tech tools
    • Assisting with collaboration tools and WWBD record-keeping including data-entry and reporting
    • General support to the local office area (partnering with other administrative assistants across the business)
    • Enabling support for remote working
    • Supporting business operational activities such as business improvement ideas and implementation
    • Occasional support for planning and arrangement of events
