Marketing and Relationship Development Officer, part time - 18 hours per week, open to flexibility
We are seeking a part time Marketing and Relationship Development Officer to join our Communications and Marketing Team. This is one of a number of brand new roles to the organisation and you will enjoy an unrivalled opportunity to play a part in ensuring the success of St Christopher’s £6.5million investment in our new Learning Hub by raising awareness of our Education offering within the community.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a leading hospice who aspires to a world in which all dying people and those close to them have access to care and support, whenever and wherever they need it. Every year, St Christopher's provides this care and support to over 6,000 people in south east London as well as hosting training for healthcare professionals across the globe.
Your new role will focus on building relationships with key audiences and be responsible for pro-actively selling and marketing our Education training events, courses and programmes to healthcare and other professionals based in the UK and around the world, using targeted sales techniques to meet our ambitious growth targets.
To succeed in this role you will need demonstrable experience of effectively influencing people using your excellent communication skills, ideally through direct sales or telesales. Experience of working within Education, Healthcare, Charitable sector or similar would be advantageous but not essential. You will be a Team player with keen attention to detail and ability to work independently.
