Reed Belfast is delighted to be working with a local organisation based in East Belfast. Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a part time, permanent basis. Offering 21 hours per week (Monday- Wednesday 9am-5pm) and a salary of ??22,000 per annum pro rata.
Reporting to The Finance Manager, the successful post holder will ensure that the payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner. The daily duties and responsibilities will include the following:
??? Process company payroll on a weekly basis??? Maintain the payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data??? Compute employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes??? Assist with queries relating to wages, deductions and attendance and time records??? Update the payroll system with new starts, leavers and job status changes??? Adhere to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law??? Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records??? Maintain confidentiality of employee pay records??? Complete payroll reports for record-keeping purposes and managerial review??? Perform the distribution of wages through issuance of paper checks or direct transfers to employees' bank accounts??? Ensure payslips are issued in a timely manner??? Post purchase invoices as required??? Photocopy, scan and file documents when required??? Any other ad hoc duties as necessary
