Are you an experienced communications professional who wants to make a difference? You could be just what we are looking for in this newly created role.

Role: Communications Coordinator, WSA Community Consultants

3 days/22.5 hours (core days should ideally include Tuesday and Wednesday but we can be flexible for the right candidate – we are also open to flexible working arrangements to accommodate school hours or other needs. We may also be able to consider a term-time only contract for this post.)

£27-£32,000 FTE, depending on experience (pro rata for 22.5 hours per week)

Remote working plus regular attendance at our London office

This role is a fixed term contract, initially for a period of one year

We’re looking for a creative, proactive and innovative individual to develop and manage our communications. By making a difference to how our business is run, you’ll be making a difference to the communities we support and empower every day.

Joining our small core team, you’ll lead on communications, taking overall responsibility for our social media accounts and working closely with colleagues to implement all aspects of our Communications Strategy including a re-branding process, promoting our training courses, leading on our annual report and a series of community insight blogs and developing / publishing newsletters to our mailing list. You’ll be a vital member of our team, ensuring our communications and branding reflects our ethos and what we do. Like everyone else in our small team, you’ll be willing to flex and adapt on a daily basis, transitioning from leading on a branding review to promoting our training programme on social media.

If you’re an experienced communications professional ready for a role you can build from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you.

We are happy to discuss a range of flexible working arrangements for the right candidate, including the ability to spread the 22.5 hours across four days to fit around school hours, or potentially a term-time only contract.

For more information and to apply for the role, please click the apply button to be taken through to our website.

Closing date: Friday 24th June at 9am

Interview date: Interviews will either take place on the 8th or 15th July, ideally at our offices in London (please let us know when you apply if you will find this difficult for any reason)

WSA are an equal opportunities employer. We are keen to ensure that our recruitment process helps us find the best candidate for the role, not the candidate who is best at completing applications and carrying out job interviews.
