Europe Reserve & Incubation Commercial Finance Analyst, Open to flexibility

Role Profile: Europe Reserve & Incubation Commercial Finance Analyst
The fragmentation of the spirits category, accelerated by the rise of founder-led brands is one of the main disruptive forces facing our industry. Diageo is seeking to participate fully in this trend and to create the conditions to nurture and grow newly innovated, invested in & acquired brands- this is where you come in.

Are you passionate about the luxury sector? Have an entrepreneurial mind-set and interested in new business start-ups?  We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified accountant with a strong and broad track record in commercial finance, creating financial business cases and financial analysis to support driving exceptional business performance and nurturing brands to becoming key category leaders.

Your leadership is the key success factor. Your job is to make a big company feel small. We want to leverage all the benefits that come from being part of Diageo to accelerate brands within the incubator portfolio. You play a key role in providing insight, data analysis and investment decision support to the Europe Reserve & Incubation leadership.

You should leverage your key strength in creating possibilities & standing in the future. You should have the confidence to challenge the status quo. Being able to operate independently is vital and to represent Diageo externally in this context- instinctively knowing what the right thing to do is and at the same time, relishing being part of a dynamic Incubator team and building relationships throughout the business.

You will be a key business partner to the General Manager – responsible for preparing financial business cases with a strategic viewpoint and insightful business performance reporting. You will provide robust decision support to the Commercial Managers on pricing recommendations and scenario modelling to support nurturing brands on their growth trajectory across Europe and into other markets.

Strong commercial finance experience would be an advantage. You should have practical financial & business management skills and be a qualified
