Salary: £40,028 - £46,431

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time, 36 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications Manager to join Camden’s communications team and lead on high quality communications that support our top priorities and aims of the Camden 2025 Plan. We’re looking a creative and innovative Communications Manager to deliver a range of multi-media projects, taking ownership of a portfolio of work relating to strategic priority campaigns under our Supporting People Directorate including for our adult social care transformation programme. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and managing strategic communications plans that use a range of channels, and which are evidence-based and targeted to reach diverse audiences. You will have a strong record of providing communications advice at a senior level, and of delivering strategic communications plans and evaluation.

About You

To succeed in this important role in our communications team, you will need to have strong writing skills, initiative and creativity; and, an excellent understanding of communications channels and how to target audiences effectively including through digital, media and marketing skills and how to target different audiences for strategic campaigns. You will be able to show how you have delivered targeted, evidence-based and campaigns and communications activity that has been evaluated. You’ll have experience of planning and delivering strategic projects on time and on budget. You will have extensive experience in a similar role, and ideally with experience of communications for social care, health and wellbeing, and be comfortable engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.
