HR Advisor - (5 months Maternity Cover)
This is a thrilling opportunity to join one of the UK largest food retailers that will give you the opportunity to be a key team member within the Human Resources team on a part-time basis as an HR Advisor.
This opportunity is the role of an HR Advisor / People Advisor to cover maternity for a minimum period of 5 months. The HR Advisor position offers a salary of ??30,000 (pro-rata ??6250 for 5 months) along with being enrolled in a generous healthcare plan, free parking, and discount shopping cards.
The working hours for the HR Advisor position would be 20 hours per week over 3 days per week
The packing facility is one of many facilities across the UK that operates efficiently to provide nationwide customers with a variety of fruits. Thanks to the team of over 500 colleagues, the produce site now supplies 59 fruit products and 115 million packs of fruit a year.
Roles and Responsibilities as an HR Advisor / People Advisor:
Handling Employee relation duties such as disciplinaries, grievance, and absence issues.
Demonstrating your knowledge of talent building and development.
Leading several projects on the Human resource plans.
Reinforce a positive culture throughout the workplace to ensure morale is high.
Building positive relationships with external suppliers and unions.
Overseeing the people specialist role in their absence.
Supporting the people team with their admin tasks.
I would be keen to see CVs from individuals who have:
A CIPD (or working towards) with up-to-date knowledge of employment relations and employment law.
Worked within a manufacturing environment as an HR Advisor but this is not essential.
Experience in advising, supporting, and coaching team members.
Ability to problem solve.
Great commercial awareness.
Experience in problem-solving efficiently.
