Part Time Maths Instructor (Online)

Are you fired-up to support students who need to catch up with their maths learning following Covid-related disruptions? Would you like to work with a dynamic organisation with a proven track record in maths intervention?
MathsMakers is an education charity accredited with the NRCSE Quality Mark, that partners with schools to run innovative maths intervention programmes. We help students strengthen their core maths skills, boost their problem-solving skills, and develop confidence in their learning. We work with students in years 6-11 who attend our weekly sessions.
MathsMakers is looking to appoint instructors for our online tutorial programmes. Programmes will run during term time in the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms, from September 2022 to July 2023. All tutorials will be scheduled either after-school or on Saturdays. The instructor position is on a freelance basis. MathsMakers offers £35 per hour. Programmes involve weekly 60-minute tutorials with students, plus 30 minutes for preparation and follow-up. Instructors are typically allocated at least 3 groups per week.
