Lawyer, Securities & Asset Management, Open to flexibility

Lloyds Banking Group is changing. We're motivated by a clear purpose; to help Britain prosper. Across the Group, our colleagues are passionate about making a difference to customers, businesses and communities. As the pace of change accelerates, you can be part of our exciting future where together we'll embrace creative, agile & simple ways of working, making a difference to the ever-changing needs of colleagues, customers & our business.

We're seeking a lawyer to work in our Securities & Asset Management legal team, someone who will deliver high quality legal and regulatory advice and provide transactional, market and industry expertise, primarily across the Capital Markets and Securitisation, as well as supporting other businesses covered by the team when required. The role involves advising and influencing at pace - both on and off transaction - managing external counsel, participating in industry groups and governance, developing best practice, know-how and training, building your network, representing the Group's interests externally and adhering to Group values.

You'll provide specialist legal advice as part of the in-house legal team advising the Bond Financing business, including the Securitised Products Group, and other businesses in Commercial Banking. Success will require specialist product and transactional knowledge of Capital Markets and/or Securitisation (including documentation, market practice, regulation and industry guidance). You'll also have or develop expertise in wider products and businesses the team supports.

You'll be

  • A qualified lawyer with excellent communication skills who delivers concise, commercially-focused legal advice?
  • Someone who enjoys being part of a team and building positive working relationships?
  • Agile, adaptable and able to prioritise competing and complex demands effectively?
  • Committed to broadening your skills and developing yourself and others?

If so, we would love to hear from you! As a new colleague, you'll join us on our journey to build a 21st century bank that reflects modern Britain, and craft an inclusive culture where all colleagues feel welcomed and valued.

Together we make it possible.
