Job Description:

This opportunity has been created for a dynamic and outgoing individual to act as our front of house host for the Northampton office. To work in partnership with colleagues to provide a friendly, efficient and professional service to all internal and external visitors, clients and customers in line with the Grant Thornton vision.

Main Duties

  • To ensure all visitors are greeted in a professional manner, are booked in, are made aware of H&S requirements on site, passes issued and logged accordingly
  • Booking accommodation/rail and taxi’s for management and visitors as required, ensuring details are recorded and logged accurately and efficiently
  • Meeting room provision
    • responsible for ensuring all Reception area meeting rooms are utilised effectively, have sufficient supplies, that all equipment is working correctly and is available
    • Rooms set up and take down as required for meetings
    • Full understanding of IS equipment used in meeting rooms
  • Provision of hospitality as required
    • Ordering catering from external suppliers, and delivering to meetings
    • Providing drinks as required for meetings
    • Logging details for invoicing purposes
  • Management/monitoring  of visitor car parking & staff vehicle registration log
  • Post Room ad hoc duties
    • Book and log couriers for ad hoc parcels,
    • Prepare urgent post to be sent out after 16:20
  • Liaise with facilities to ensure internal supplies of refreshments are available
  • Stock control and ordering of stationery on site
  • Process and receipt incoming postal cheques on a daily basis
  • Sending and retrieving files from Archive as required
  • Arranging the removal of waste printer toners
  • Work closely with the Office Services Supervisor

  • You will be willing to “go the extra mile”  and use your initiative
  • Of course you will be organised and have the ability to prioritise
