If so, we’re now looking for an experienced Account Director to join us and we’d love you to see if this role might be for you.
The role is a mix of office and homeworking and we can consider a full or part time person for this role.
About the Role.
We don’t mind what sector you’ll have worked in previously (although learning and development would be ideal), but we do need someone who has worked in a role where you’ve been responsible for approaching businesses and developing strong and lasting relationships. You’ll have an eye for detail and have a knack for creating trust with clients; you listen, advise and promote.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for sales and business development: you’ll meet and exceed team sales targets, with both new and existing clients by growing existing clients and proactively approaching new clients.
You’ll build strong client relationships through an understanding of specific client needs, becoming a highly trusted partner/ advisor to your clients and will support our marketing team’s agenda.
Day to day you’ll be involved in the following:
- Owning the whole sales and account management process, from early conversations to proposal/pitch
- Building credible relationships with new and existing clients/ organisations to drive sales
- Managing and growing client accounts
- Meeting with senior Learning and Development people and other stakeholders within organisations to understand current business issues and scope out needs
- Creating compelling proposals and tailored learning solutions that meet business needs
- Pitching to stakeholders
- Negotiating with Procurement
- Owning the contract process
- Working with the Client Coordinator who will manage the roll out of the projects
- Navigating around your accounts to spot growth opportunities
- Writing account and project plans to maximise revenue
We’re a collaborative team so it’s very important that you have a can-do attitude and are a self-starter with a proactive and highly responsive attitude.
