Regulatory Operations Manager,  Full time - flexible working may be considered

We are hiring a Regulatory Operations Manager to join us in Investigations and Supervision - the directorate that makes sure solicitors and law firms follow our rules and investigates when things go wrong. This team is central to the delivery of our regulatory purpose to protect consumers of legal services throughout England and Wales.

Being an influential, collaborative and experienced people manager as well as a confident leader, is integral to the success of this role and team. You will be a team player - across all levels - and feel most at ease working with others towards delivering a common goal. Case management experience in a regulated and compliance focused environment with strong governance principles is a must.

This role forms part of the senior leadership team and has full accountability for delivering team, department and organisation objectives. You will report directly to the Director of Investigation and Supervision and work closely with other managers in the team to develop the Supervision strategy and business plan. You will thrive in a decision-making role where rational, objective and solid judgement making are pivotal to success.

We are looking for someone who can provide strong leadership and manage teams of investigators - monitoring the regulated community. As a leader, you will make sure the necessary resources are effectively employed to deliver the SRA's objectives.

The role is offered as a twelve-month fixed term contract while we undergo a period of organisational change. This change is focused on implementing new technology and a new regulatory framework.
