We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage and organise the delivery of a key business change project. This important position will project manage the development and implementation of our new MS Dynamics Customer Relationship Management system to support the creation of a Shared Service Centre. This is a 6 month contract and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Project manage the Project Initiation Document including objectives and outcomes; Supplier delivery to plan, cost and time, testing to User Acceptance Criteria, Performance of system including volumes, crash and recovery
  • A successful go-live
  • Coordinating internal resources and vendors for the successful execution of the project
  • Ensuring the project is delivered on-time, within scope and budget
  • Manage change management process and roll-out with user group, project team and steering committee.

Project Manager Job Duties

  • Project management responsibilities include delivering the project on time within budget and scope. The project manager should have a background in re-engineering processes and procedures and be familiar with MS Dynamics and CRM systems
  • A thorough understanding of business skills, management, budgeting and analysis in a multi-location business is required
  • The Project manager skills in getting the best out of the people and the project will be key and evidence of delivering multi-dimensional projects will be required. They will thrive when planning projects and working with vendors and project team members.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the smooth execution of the project
  • Ensure the project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, functional requirements, testing quality assurance and user acceptance requirements are met
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation to project task
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent experience is essential, preferably in the fields of business process re-engineering, technology projects, computer science or engineering for technical project
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics and an understanding of operational sales processes and practices is desirable
  • Proven working experience as a project manager administrator in the information technology sector
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Dynamics
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Education sector experience would be an advantage
