Our client in the banking sector is seeking a Senior Analyst in the Client Strategy and Analytics team.

The team supports the execution of client and sales strategic initiatives by providing business analytics and strategic and analytical support to the Global Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities business. The team is an integral part of the business strategy and is responsible for liaising with Sales Technology to enhance client analytics to measure client profitability, sales effectiveness, and highlight business opportunities to increase revenues.


  • Coordinate internal account reviews by liaising with Sales & Trading, Global Markets partners, and relationship managers to identify areas of opportunity, develop action plans and track progress
  • Leverage business analytics and further integrate client wallet data to identify opportunities to increase revenues, client rankings and cross sell opportunities as well as prospective clients
  • Support sales management in meeting global sales objectives by assisting with development of sales & client strategy action plans, following up on takeaways and tracking progress on initiatives
  • Coordinate account budgeting and planning process with Sales; review budgets/plans with Sales managers and track sales action plans
  • Partner with Sales & Trading managers to review priority client lists and ensure sales efforts are focused and coordinated on priority focus accounts
  • Prepare materials in advance of senior management external client meetings summarizing internal performance and highlighting opportunities to increase revenues 
  • Consistently look for ways to automate existing manual processes, driving change management to improve processes, accuracy of reporting, and efficiencies
  • Liaise with technology to enhance analytics to help the business identify opportunities to increase revenues including cross-sell and prospect opportunities by integrating competitive benchmarking data
  • Escalate and communicate data integrity issues to business, sales technology and data reference teams

​Experience and skills:

  • Experience working in a trading floor environment with the ability to meet expectations in a fast paced environment and communicate effectively and confidently
  • Knowledge of Global Markets products (FICC, Equities, Funding) and clients segments (Corporates, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Insurance, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts & graphs)
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Positive attitude and collaborative approach; proactively helps teammates and partners be successful 
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities at once
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate to senior management knowing what, when, and to whom to communicate 
  • Strong presentation skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of information to key takeaways and themes for senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to organize large amounts of data and effectively present metrics and analysis to help drive strategic decisions
  • Self-starter, ability to progress and deliver initiatives with little direction / oversight
  • Ambitious & driven; doesn’t settle for status quo and consistently looks for ways to improve processes and value-add of activities
