Grants and Programmes Manager, Part time 21-35 hours/wk (spread across at least four days)

  • Do you want to play your part in transforming the lives of thousands of vulnerable and traumatised children in Africa and those affected by the current refugee crisis?
  • Do you enjoy seeing through ambitious programmes from initial fundraising right through to delivery?

One to One Children's Fund are seeking a focused, results driven individual to join our highly-motivated team as our Grants and Programmes Manager.

Under the direction of One to One Children’s Fund Executive Chair, and in liaison with the Senior Technical Advisor and Director of Fundraising, the Grants and Programmes Manager will take the lead in ensuring the effective implementation, monitoring and reporting of donor-funded projects. Your role will also include setting and delivering on income targets, in particular from corporate donors and foundations,  and leveraging new income generation opportunities.

As a confident and collaborative individual, you will be able to develop strong relationships with new and existing project partners and grantors. You will have an understanding of community-based interventions in developing countries, and experience of successfully convincing funders of the worth and impact of projects to secure new income flows.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interpret and synthesise complex information into compelling proposals and reports. You will also have strong organisational skills and attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines.

Over the past six months we have established a new portfolio of exciting pilot projects that have the potential for significant scale up in the future. If you can bring broad programme management experience and a good understanding of grant management, with a passion for what we do, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note, as this is as an urgent requirement we will be interviewing potentially suitable candidates as they come in, so please apply online  as soon as possible if you are interested in being considered.
