About the VAT Room and Filter Room Senior Operator Roles
As a Spirit Supply Operator in our dedicated team at Leven Spirit Supply, you’ll play a pivotal role in the ordering and processing both Whisky and White Spirits for our bottling hall operations.
You’ll collaborate closely with all departments within the function to ensure this is done effectively.
Being able to understand a production programme and order spirit to fulfil it while being adaptive to change is crucial in this role.
The role holder will be responsible for ensuring spirit is available and in specification for production, health and safety and will be a key part of how this is supervised and improved.
Through planning and processing of the spirits, you will ensure the demands of both the business and our customers is met.
The successful candidate will proactively lead on performance analysis that drives improvement actions and address adverse performance trends.
Health and safety compliance is key, and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is supervised alongside other Key Performance Indicators and targets such as quality.
This role is on our weekend shift rota, hours are Friday 1-7pm, Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm, totalling 30 hours across the weekend.
We’re looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems.
You must be able to push forward your own ideas about improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities. You’ll aim to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and show your excellent communication skills.
A sound understanding of SAP, CE2 and spirit processing is desired.
Demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles is helpful.
You’ll have shown IT skills, as you are going to be responsible for automated production recording and management reporting systems.
