Working across our relationship brand(s) within the LBG portfolio, we're looking for an experienced Assistant Marketing Manager to be a key part of the financial planning team within conversion marketing team. Focusing on the delivery of key marketing campaigns across investments, savings and pensions products.

  • We collaborate across the Group to ensure that our campaigns meet the needs of our customers, whilst also delivering for the business.

About the role:

  • The Assistant Marketing Manager role will support in the end-to-end delivery of financial planning campaigns across a range of channels, from 1-2-1 direct marketing (direct mail and email) to digital channels (such as internet banking, and possibly display and PPC) - working with colleagues across the business, and internal; and external; agencies to delivery personalised campaigns to plan, on time and within budget, in order to achieve the agreed customer and commercial targets.

  • Continuous learning is important, helping in the development of strong test and learn strategies and performance analysis to develop campaigns over time and communicating these results with key collaborators.

Location and Ways of Working

Our team works out of our London hub therefore we'll need you to be based a commutable distance from this area. We work in a hybrid model, splitting our time between the office and working from home, aiming to be in the office at least 2 days a week.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Working closely with business divisions, the wider marketing team, and the agency portfolio to develop and complete campaign plans.

  • Support in the development of Audience Strategies, to champion the customer from all perspectives.

  • Developing Performance dashboards and defining actions to build marketing contribution.

  • Ongoing monitoring of campaign performance and external market factors to continually review and refine plans and drive the best possible results.

  • Analyse results and draw valuable and practical insight and communicate these across a wider partner group.

  • Leverage new conversion technology / capability as it comes on board, to consistently improve performance.

  • Ensuring accurate and effective day to day budget management.

  • Staying abreast of the latest brand thinking, brand communications plans and customer insight, and applying to conversion plans.

Skills and Experience we're looking for:

  • Relentless focus on creative excellence and strong creative judgement required.

  • Experience in developing and implementing complex, multi-variant, multi-channel campaigns.

  • Strong production experience and knowledge of levers to deliver continual speed to market improvements.

  • Accurately account for all campaign spend and understand LBG budgeting processes.

  • Numerate and able to interpret performance data / make recommendations to improve campaign activity.

  • Navigate a wide variety of existing processes, procedures and precedents to interpret data and identify possible solutions.

  • Establish good collaborative working relationships with key partners - to support delivery of shared objectives.
