About the Role

Johnnie Walker Princes Street will be the culmination of all tour and tasting experiences with an iconic retail store situated in the heart of the city on lively Princes Street.

The Senior Retail Associate is an integral part of Front Of House and Back Of House, focusing on the service provided to customers visiting the home of Johnnie Walker. You will ensure constant and smooth communication with the Management Team. You will also be passionate about crafting connections with customers and supporting colleagues to deliver excellent standards of service at all levels. 

Encouraging a team of Retail Associates in order to sell a wide range of our portfolio and build tailored sales experiences to our customers from around the world in order to support their whisky exploration. You will be an integral part of their training and development to ensure they have all they need to deliver an outstanding service for our visitors.

Alongside serving customers, you’ll play a key role in the merchandising, upselling, inventory control and overall operations of the store.

About You

To be successful, you’ll need outstanding retail (or related) experience and be guided by a customer-first attitude. You’ll have the ability to build personalised experiences in accordance with customer needs by interpreting their desires, make purchase suggestions and ensure each customer has an elite experience when visiting our store.

With shown experience of being an inspirational and encouraging leader, you will utilise your leadership skills with the team.

You’ll have experience working within a target driven environment to achieve individual and team objectives, dealing with a high volume of customer footfall. As Johnnie Walker and our whisky portfolio are premium brands throughout the world, previous experience working within a luxury sales environment is preferable but not crucial.
