Grant Thornton are looking for Paraplanners to join the profitable and rapidly growing Wealth Advisory Department.

Working as part of this high-energy team of likeminded people. Our focus is building and protecting wealth, your focus will be supporting our highly talented advisers. Together you will provide an outstanding client service to our high net worth clients.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Produce detailed, clear and accurate suitability reports in line with the client's objectives within agreed timescales.
  • Oversee all resulting transactions, ensuring they are competed promptly and correctly; providing the adviser with regular updates.
  • Keep up to date with industry changes that affect the role.
  • Understand and successfully deliver on the different stages of the client journey.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to check colleagues’ work to ensure accuracy.
  • Ability to provide feedback to colleagues.
  • Self-starter and able to manage own time effectively
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures as laid down by the Firm.
  • The candidate will need to be interested in the Wealth Advisory brand and be willing to conduct own research, ensuring their market knowledge is up to date.
  • Be proactive with own development and ask for training where needed.
  • Strive to pass on knowledge by coaching and mentoring, to help build a high performing team.
  • Adhere to the Financial Conduct Authorities requirements of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).

Education, Experience, Qualifications:

  • Financial Services experience desirable
  • Paraplanner experience essential
