Job Description:

At Grant Thornton, our people are at the heart of everything we do, without great people we know we can't realise our vision of shaping a vibrant economy.  Our support team work alongside the core business to assist with their everyday administrative needs.

  • Organising meetings including liaising with attendees, room/venues, catering, related   diary management etc.
  • Coordination and implementation of internal and external events including onsite registration/assistance, producing badges etc
  • Develop strong relationships with fee earners keeping them regularly updated on event progress
  • Organising all travel arrangements (both domestic and international)
  • Efficiently dealing with telephone calls/ messages
  • Acting as a secondary contact for absent team members
  • Document production of correspondence using Firm's templates/corporate style including audio and copy typing
  • Producing PowerPoint presentations following corporate style
  • Completion of Advisory take on’s, sequestrations, diaries and any associated tasks
  • Updating of EDM for Tax
  • Room set ups and booking of catering
  • Occasional travel between offices
  • Opening, distributing and sending of post, photocopying, binding, sending faxes, filing, maintains files, basic data input
  • Update and maintain InterAction and opportunities
  • Replenishment and troubleshooting of photocopiers
  • Distribution of fruit
  • Ordering of stationery and hospitality sundries
  • Assisting Office Manager with H&S and manual handling tasks
  • Ensure the fabric of the office is maintained
  • Assisting with projects e.g. events, mailings, research
  • Ensures and maintains the strictest adherence to both client and staff confidentiality
  • Adheres to Firm's risk management policies
  • Carries out any other duties to meet with the needs of business
  • Covers for other support staff as required

Education, experience and qualifications:

  • You'll have experience of working to SLAs
  • You'll have office administration experience
  • You'll have good verbal and written communication
