Global Category Lead, Marketing Procurement - PR, Social & Earned Media, Open to flexibility

We have a new fantastic challenge within our procurement team to lead the creation, execution and management of comprehensive global sourcing strategies for Public Relations (PR), Social and Earned Media within the marketing category.

Your Key Duties in the Role

  • Manage the creation and development of the category across both Pharma and Consumer business units
  • Partner with the Marketing organisation to build the social and earned media category through the exploration of innovative marketing opportunities
  • Develop and deliver the global sourcing strategy PR, Social, and Earned Media
  • Manage global and local negotiations with agencies
  • Ensure delivery of reach and Cost delivery targets
  • Actively manage PR, Social, and Earned Media demand
  • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
  • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving and efficiency

Why You?

Basic qualifications:

  • University Degree within related subject, for example Business Administration, Finance or Marketing
  • Procurement experience, ideally within marketing/related categories
  • Proven negotiations and contract management skills.
  • Leadership/communication skills
  • English proficiency (written and oral)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or procurement related qualifications
  • Experience within the fields of Public Relations, Social and/or Earned Media
  • Fluency in another language
