An opportunity to play a vital leadership role in a fast-growing, full-service marketing agency, working directly with the Founder and CEO to deliver on her ambitious vision for the business.
With a focus on delivering performance marketing through data analysis and creative planning, the agency has clients across outdoor events, consumer exhibitions, immersive experiences, arena shows, visitor attractions, family theatre, West End and touring musicals and celebrity social media.
The team delivers creative planning and strategies, partnerships and promotions, social media, ticketing and yield management, SEO, media planning and buying, GDPR and design services and has been awarded Best New Business, featured in the Top 100 UK Start Up list and was shortlisted in the top 6 Best Small Agencies in the UK Agency Awards.
With an ambitious strategic vision, we’re looking for someone with the competency and appetite to take full ownership and responsibility for all operational areas. In so doing, they will ensure that all company functions enable the entire team to perform at optimum level to deliver on the company’s commercial goals and objectives.
Both a strategic and operational role, with strong internal and external support, they will head up a culture of excellence in all the business’s operations, including legal, financial, technical and HR management.
HR and people development: Take full ownership of HR administration, to include recruitment and hiring functions, operations and logistics, team and internal communications, as well as driving a culture of people development with high levels of engagement.
Technical and IT: Ensure that all IT, digital communication channels and the company website enable the company to operate at maximum performance at all times.
Legal: Working with relevant team members, ensure that all legal processes, negotiations, requirements and documents are fit for purpose, compliant and effective.
Finance: Working with the company bookkeeper, manage and contribute substantially to the financial goals of the business and ensure month end and yearly accounts are completed.
Internal business operations: Manage business, office and team systems to ensure quality, consistency and reliability, as well as leading an office move. Provide oversight and direction to the CEO’s personal assistant in her role, including the planning of client and company events.
The successful candidate will have around 10 years’ experience in a demanding business environment, together with a professional qualification such as in finance, business, legal or HR. They will be able to demonstrate experience in, or appetite for, a high-growth, ambitious working environment, and have experience of reporting directly to a founder or senior director, as well as in line management and managing a range of service providers and stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone with a calm, professional, authoritative, positive personal disposition who wants the opportunity to deploy their experience, skills and maturity to a challenging role whilst enjoying the opportunity to work flexibly. Whilst the role requires a fully-committed approach, we are happy to discuss a four-day working week, or flexibility around office hours.
Up to £60k per annum, full time equivalent. The role is 28-35 hours per week and we're open to discussion on flexible working.
