Our London SSC team takes the lead in our global social security network. Role Description

You will own or manage key elements of client relationships, working closely with other parts of GES, and, with an appropriate level of support, will be encouraged to proactively identify innovative solutions for your clients and pursue new business development opportunities by utilising your networks and knowledge.

Our Consultants are also either people managers or act as coaches and role models to the Analysts in their team.  You will be a confident team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise with others, as well as continuing to build your own technical expertise or specialism

Location

London. Travel may be required for client based projects. And you may be required to spend time off-site with regional and international clients.

Hours

This is a permanent role with a degree of flexibility. We are open to discussing the different ways in which we are able to support agile working arrangements. We recognise that our people are juggling demanding careers with commitments and interests outside of work.

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a team to deliver social security advice, consulting projects and core compliance services to your clients;
  • Owning all aspects of a portfolio of small and mid-tier clients, with responsibility for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through building client relationships;
  • Working with senior management to identify and pursue new business development opportunities on top-tier clients;
  • Playing an active role supporting senior team members with driving forward the group’s strategic plan;
  • Working with senior management to raise the profile of social security services in the national market both internally and externally;
  • Building the wider practice, by mentoring less experienced people in the team, and playing a key role in their development.

Requirements

  • Experience of dealing with international social security issues. Consideration will be given to candidates with expatriate/ mobility tax who are keen to specialise in this area.
  • Experience of assisting in maintaining and developing client relationships.
  • Experience in generating business development opportunities.
  • Experience of supervising less experienced staff.
