Our taskforces and networks regularly bring together our Members and Partners with disabled opinion leaders to share best practice and create change in their specialist fields or areas of common interest.
We are looking for a Digital Inclusion Manager to help us to optimise, develop and manage our websites and future digital products.
You will need to be a creative and forward thinking with a passion for using digital tools to improve the lives of disabled people as employees, customers and stakeholders.
This role will work cross-functionally across our organisation and be closely aligned with our Communications and Marketing, including our design team, our Policy and Campaigns team and our leadership team.
To be successful in the role you will have significant experience of managing digital products and services in a similar size organisation. You are likely to have worked alongside digital marketers and across a full range of channels. You will also have excellent project management skills and be able to show how you’ve successfully engaged disabled users and turned insight into real actions and solutions.
- A proven background of delivering digital products and services to a business audience and specifically including the needs of disabled people with a wide range of access requirements (A & I).
- Professional experience managing a Content Management System (A & I).
- Experience in monitoring and reporting through Google Analytics and other insights platforms (A & I).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and techniques to meet WCAG for web, mobile and documentation (A, I & T).
- Ability to support a variety of project styles including Agile, Waterfall and hybrid approaches (A, I & T).
