Customer Consultant - Chester, Open to flexibility

Community Bank is made up of multiple areas which support activity across the Group. Within Credit Operations we have over 2000 colleagues working in a number of sites helping with customers in financial difficulty, We assist in resolving their financial position by finding ways to repay their arrears in the shortest, affordable and appropriate way.

In your role as Customer Consultant in the Unsecured Collections team you will use your excellent communication skills and rapport building to assist our customers. We know these are challenging economic times, which is why we're committed to helping our customers through them

You will work with the customer to understand their circumstances and consider customer account history to ensure you fully understand their ability to repay. Working with our customers you will follow the Banks guidelines to initiate sustainable repayments that meet their needs, taking responsibility for recovering arrears and protecting the bank's interests whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer care.

Right from the start, we'll give you full training and all the support you need with a 4 week Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00pm Induction Course. This will be followed by a further 6 weeks on the job training, side by side. We will help you to obtain a full understanding of our operational policies and procedures plus give you an awareness of regulatory practices and constraints.

We require a variety of shift patterns covering Monday - Friday 8.00am till 9.00pm and Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
