Global Product Owner- Product Experience Management (PXM), Open to flexibility

The Product Experience Management, Global Product Owner role within the Global Digital Commerce Team will be responsible for driving the strategic roadmap, expansion and utilisation of GSK Consumer Healthcare's Product Experience Management (PXM) solution.

Our PXM strategy is targeted at delivering and enabling world class platforms, processes, operating models and ways of working related to Product Content across all global and local digital divisions and markets. The principle focus of this strategy is to support accelerated digital commerce sales growth by enabling our teams to leverage Product Content more effectively that increases executional agility and drives competitive advantage for our brands.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the products overall success globally in support of the organisations PXM and broader Digital Commerce strategy.
  • Responsible for ensuring that PXM is relentlessly focused on delivering business value for our customers that drives near and medium-term growth for our brands; including identifying expansion opportunities and managing the product in steady state.
  • Responsible for understanding industry trends and opportunities in this space and translating those into opportunities for GSK Consumer Healthcare.
  • Responsible for working with other Digital Commerce and Operations Product Owners to identify and deliver joint value opportunities for our customers that supports our overall Commerce strategy and Digital ambition.
  • Accountable for managing business budgets and expenditure related to PxM, project managers,
  • development and vendor resources where required
  • Ability to work with local market and area teams to map and understand the full end-to-end processes, landscapes, work and data flows that support successful activation and utilisation in new markets.
  • Build excellent partnerships with our platform and services partners. Seek to operate as a "one team" with our customers at the centre of all activities and incentives.
  • Responsible for helping to define and report against KPIs on the product, operating model and processes with senior stakeholders, market teams, peers and the Product Management Team.
  • Responsible for representing our global PxM solution to our governance boards and steering committees, including prioritising initiatives & features in partnership with the Product Manager in support of the strategic direction of PXM.
  • Accountable for ensuring data-driven decision making around value performance vs. priorities vs. resource allocation when evaluating roadmap options and budget spend.
  • Engaging with markets & relevant teams applying "design thinking" and "agile" skills to assess new demand & value opportunities against the product - be able to translate business challenges to product opportunities/features.
  • Champion Agile delivery methodology and help build the Agile capability within the organisation.
  • Monitor, share and evaluate delivery, and measure progress to ensure value is delivered early and often..
  • Establish a regular feedback process with the Global Product Manager, Tech teams and broader Digital stakeholders to align on priorities and roadmaps.
  • Actively participate in the larger Digital organisation, sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge, and bringing in best practices

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing medium to large sized digital products and projects
  • Preferably have varied experience in the past as a BA, QA, and/or Developer (this is not a hands' on coding position, but having the background may help technically)
  • Comfortable with Agile tools such as Basecamp, Visual Studio Team Services, Jira Agile, or VersionOne
  • Have worked in both Waterfall and Agile environments
