The King Alfred School is looking for a motivated individual who wants to take on a wide range of administrative responsibilities and learn new skills. In this newly created position, reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, you will work in a supportive and friendly team to:

  • Set up and implement sound user-friendly systems to support the financial management of trips, camps, and School trading activities.
  • Serve as a focal point for interactions between the Bursary, the educational staff, students and the Parent Staff Association.
  • Support the Bursary manager in fee invoicing, providing cover during absences.

You should be an outstanding administrator who is:

  • Proactive, willing to take initiative and with a “can do” attitude.
  • Computer literate, able to quickly learn and use new programmes.
  • A very strong communicator who is able to develop relationships and command respect from stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to interpret, use and explain data with an eye for detail.
  • A team player.

The position is term-time plus two weeks with the option for part time hours. The salary will be £28,000 to £32,000 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience.
