This is a fantastic opportunity to join as a Digital Analytics Technical Lead. You’ll provide technical ownership for the Digital Analytics tools and technologies enabling cutting-edge Analytics and Digital Marketing practices. 

Our Digital Analytics Team is growing alongside our evolving marketing technology stack and within the next 12-18 months we are migrating towards a fully embedded and utilised industry leading stack (including Google Analytics 360, Tealium, Adobe Analytics, Observepoint and Salesforce). It’s an exciting time to join us and your challenge will be to influence the way we implement, enable and configure these and other Digital Analytics technologies to achieve our strategic goals.  

You will be responsible for end-to-end implementation and governance of Digital Analytics technologies.  

Keeping abreast of Digital Analytics technologies will be key to this role to ensure our platform keeps pace with evolving needs and emerging trends as is working with the digital analytics team, vendors, architects and technical leads throughout the business to define the best solutions for our Digital Analytics stack and tagging. You will be driving improvements in quality, automation and usage making sure the Digital Analytics technologies are working for us.  You’ll be a technical mentor providing leadership and support to the Digital Analytics Team. 

Working with technical and non-technical people you’ll be building relationships and engaging with people across the business. This will include our Digital Marketing and Insight teams to understand future roadmaps and ensure solutions meet the business requirements. You will be instrumental amongst the tech leads community in defining tagging standards and implementing automated testing, monitoring & alerting in line with best practices.  

What will it take?  

  • Expert knowledge of Digital Analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tealium, GTM and/or other tools / platforms) 
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing and providing ongoing maintenance of Digital Analytics technologies 
  • Experience of Tag Management technologies 
  • Experience with JavaScript (from tagging and tracking perspective) 
  • Good understanding of data relationships across platforms for data alignment and accuracy 
  • Excellent communicator with experience of interfacing between business and technical teams  
  • Awareness of Digital/ AdTech disciplines including SEO, PPC and Display 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
