National Account Executive, Open to flexible working
Critical to your success in this role will be your ability to develop deep customer relationships in a very competitive market. You will use commercial knowledge and insights to deliver results whilst operating with simplicity and creativity, driving optimum operational performance.
You will partner with the commercial lead for the account to grow their footprint and share of the market through a combination of best in class relationship management, bespoke activation expertise and bar tender education.
As a member of the Managed Retail Team there are 5 core aspects to your role to support your progress to broader Commercial roles in Diageo:
P&L OWNERSHIP - full commercial ownership and accountability for a group of existing accounts, whilst identifying and analysing new opportunities.
EXECUTION - Partnering with activation internally to deliver against the execution for the customer, which can encompass coordinating both a scale execution across a group of outlets and bespoke focus in a handful of priority sites. Interpreting the return on investment associated with the execution ensures we continue to hone our customer activity while meeting their needs.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT - build relationships with the key stakeholders, decision makers and influencers in the trade.
INTERNAL ENGAGEMENT - A key pillar to success in the role is engaging the business to understand the specifics of the customer agenda and work together to find solutions which deliver commercially. Key teams include CP&A, Field Sales, Cat Dev and DBA SUPPORT THE CHANNEL -partner with the account NAM to grow beer and spirits share, developing and implementing strategies that will unlock short & long-term growth for our customers and Diageo.
