Learning and Development Manager (16-20hrs per week, 6 month contract)
The role is for a company based in West Oxfordshire, who provide a number of different types of services to people with mental health and learning difficulties, including small-scale residential care homes, supported living services, shared ownership homes, community support services, day services and employment services.
This role is to deliver the Learning and Development plan to ensure that the workforce have access to and are fully compliant in all mandatory training as required by statutory and service standards, to include CQC.
Adopt a blended learning approach of training techniques to meet different learning styles, addressing accessibility and geographical challenges to ensure that all staff are able to embrace learning.
Promote an environment of continuous improvement and development, ensuring that all learning opportunities are current, fit for purpose and align with business needs.
Undertake regular quality assurance of all training offers and providers both internal and external.
Oversee and manage the Learning Management System with the support of the HR Services Manager, to provide accurate reports and data to Managers and Directors on a regular basis.
Review and implement our Management Development Programme/Leadership Programme to promote effective workforce planning and career development in accordance with Advance’s Strategic Plan.
Work in partnership with our Apprenticeship provider(s) to enable effective use and access of the Apprenticeship Levy to best meet the needs of the business.
