Contracts Monitoring & Support Officer, Open to flexible working
Fixed Term / Secondment Contract - 6 Months
Our Parking and Markets team manages parking on the street, in council car parks, and on Hackney Homes estates. The team manage and regulate street-markets and shop-front trading, including administration of licences.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Monitoring & Support Officer to support our Parking Contracts Team. You will be responsible for the administration and performance monitoring across the suite of parking services’ key contracts; On-street, Off-Street, Pound and Removals, CCTV Parking Enforcement, Moving Traffic Enforcement and Hackney Homes. Additionally collate, maintain and report accurate and meaningful contractor performance information, tracking actual against planned performance on a timely basis and identifying variations along with recommendations for remedial action/improvement and ensure information is properly reported, shared and acted upon by Parking Services, Contractors and other affected parties.
You will also deal with enquires, parking issues and requests received, and will respond or escalate as appropriate. You will support the service by preparing required communications, take minutes at meetings and be responsible for the team’s financial system requirements, keeping budgets updated, invoices and purchase orders raised.
Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and your IT skills, in particular excel and report writing abilities, are what we are looking for. Ideally, you will have an understanding of and good knowledge of the various legislation, codes of practise and guidance that govern Parking and Traffic Enforcement.
