The Mayor of London has an ambitious plan for Culture and Creative Industries in the capital over the next few years. This role is an opportunity to join the dynamic Culture and Creative Industries Unit, helping to deliver the Mayor’s Cultural Strategy and his commitment to Culture and Good Growth in London. 

Creative Enterprise Zones (CEZ) is a new policy to establish clusters of creative production where artists and creative businesses can put down roots. They will secure permanent affordable workspace, business and skills support, business rates relief, super-fast broadband, supported by pro-culture Local Plans and providing long-term support so that local people can access jobs in the sector. They form part of the Mayor’s commitment to securing Cultural Infrastructure.

As the Senior Programme Manager – Creative Enterprise Zones, you will provide senior strategic direction for the programme, oversee the delivery of the first six zones, supported by £11m in investment from the Mayor and lead the evaluation of the programme to develop and inform future policy on Creative Enterprise Zones and wider Cultural Regeneration.

You will be an experienced cultural manager or producer with expertise in creative industries policy development and programme delivery in a complex political environment, including working with local, regional and central government partners. You will be a competent project manager with a good understanding of some of the key issues facing artists and creative businesses. You will manage support staff and contractors to ensure full delivery of the programme.
